Pictures of nature for clinic rooms

The photographer Georg Tappeiner brings mountains and nature to the Cityclinic with his pictures.

A large-format panoramic photograph awaits the visitor right in the reception hall. With a length of 10.3 meters and a height of 3 meters, the Sciliar, Catinaccio and Latemar tower over the reception.

In the atrium on the upper floor, light-flooded fog provides inspiring views of the mountain. The 2.25 by 1.8 meter canvas seem alive, as if it was moving.

Seven pictures measuring 1 x 1.5 meters in the central lounge show nature photographs. They invite to pause, take a deep breath, immerse in stillness and soak up light.

The photographs in the patient rooms of the CityClinic provide views from the hospital bed. These are printed on 62 x 42 cm handmade paper from Italian artisans with environmentally friendly colors of the highest lightfastness. In addition to Georg Tappeiner's well-known mountain motifs, other nature images from a new, mostly unpublished edition are showed. They invite to dream, to anticipate future summit experiences...
